Our parishes are the heart of our diocese.

Through the parish, Catholics receive the sacraments, deepen their faith experience, model their faith to the next generations, and come together to serve their community. The Living Christ campaign presents our parishes with the opportunity to further enhance the spiritual and pastoral life of our people. By investing in the needs of our parishes and enhancing their ability to excel in evangelization and outreach, this campaign will place the Church at the forefront of our communities to experience a sense of deeper discipleship, with Christ at the center of all that we do.

Supporting Local Parish Needs / $22,750,000

Strong parishes are the foundation of a thriving and vibrant Church. Through this campaign, each parish will retain 35% of the funds it raises to support local parish priorities. Parishes will have the ability to decide upon the allocation of these funds for the needs of their people. In addition, parishes will retain 50% of funds that they raise over their goals, providing further incentive for parishes to maximize the local impact of the Living Christ campaign.

Fostering Healthy Parishes / $3,000,000

The establishment of the Fostering Healthy Parishes Endowment will make resources readily available for new parish-based ministry programs aimed at spreading the joy of the Gospel through leadership, Catholic catechesis, and maintaining the well-being of our parish communities. By supporting both current and more permanent programming, this endowment will help fuel the implementation of creative new initiatives based on principles proven to make parishes the center of evangelization in their respective communities.
